The House Always Wins

Emerson recently wrote, co-directed, and starred in The House Always Wins, a 10 minute dystopian short. This film is available to view upon request, and will be released to the public following its festival circuit.

The House Always Wins has been chosen as an Official Selection at the 2025 UK Film Festival and will be showing on November 19, 2025!

On their 21st birthday, every citizen faces a life-defining choice: remain in the safety of Stability, where all needs are met but every move is monitored - or pursue the mystery of Freedom, a world free of rules but stripped of government support. Raised to trust the system, Sienna is certain of her future - until a friend’s decision forces her to question everything she’s been told. As the day of her choice approaches, Sienna finds herself caught between loyalty, fear, and a truth she’s only beginning to glimpse.

Women's Poetic Justice

Emerson produced Women's Poetic Justice, a short film that handles revenge and justice through a dynamic lens- think Dexter meets Promising Young Woman.

Women's Poetic Justice recently premiered at Atlanta Women's Film Festival, winning Best Horror/Thriller Film and Best International Film!

 

The film will be available for public viewing following its festival run.

Rewriting Mallory follows the lives of two people struggling to maintain control amidst the messy reality of an unpredictable life. Joshua, a young man dealing with grief after the passing of his sister, turn to writing as a means of processing his emotions. Mallory, a young woman who seems to always be one step behind, finds her life crumble in front of her over the course of one awful day. Stories collide as we are left wondering: are we the authors of our own narrative?
